As this school year comes to an end I've been reflecting on my career (what little there is of it so far). I started teaching in 2012 and July 2014 marks the end of my second year of teaching, the first year of being an independent teacher after completing my NQT year in July 2013.

After an intense PGCE where I breifly seriously considered whether this was the right career path for me, an eye opening and ultimately life affirming year of supply, and now two years in nursery (the best year group IMHO) I feel i'm starting to lose that fumbling feeling that all new teachers have, though I don't think that anyone is every really free of it.
What I want this blog to do is to store some of my better ideas, some ideas that went wrong and what surprising positives came out of them, and help me to visualise links to improve my own practice, because at the end of the day that's what it's all about.
I'm going to start with some of my favourites from the past academic year, which may or may not be in order, before moving onto updating this blog with ideas as they happen, in real time! How exciting for you, dear reader.
